ME Sisters Cotton Candy began as a simple family tradition. Every year, when Marley and Ellie’s birthdays rolled around, we would rent a cotton candy machine and celebrate with big smiles, sticky fingers, and lots of laughter. Eventually, we realized it made more sense to buy our own machine, and once we did, it became a special part of our family gatherings. Instead of bringing gifts to friends’ parties, we brought cotton candy. The kids loved it, the parents loved it, and everyone kept saying the same thing:
“You should really start a business doing this.”
But for a long time, it was just a fun tradition we shared as a family… until life got hard.
Our family has recently been navigating a very challenging chapter. In the middle of all the emotional weight and the changes we’re still adjusting to, I found myself searching for something positive, something that would bring joy back into the girls’ lives, give them something to look forward to, and help them grow through hands-on experience and connection.
That’s when ME Sisters Cotton Candy became more than a fun idea. It became a project with heart.
Today, this little business is our way of rebuilding. It’s a chance for Marley and Ellie to learn real-life skills: responsibility, work ethic, customer service, money management, planning, creativity, all while doing something that genuinely brings happiness to others.
We want every event we attend to feel like the birthday parties that inspired all of this, fun, warm, full of excitement, and filled with that unmistakable feeling of something sweet in the air. For us, this isn’t just cotton candy. It’s family. It’s healing. It’s hope. And it’s a way to spread joy at a time when we need it just as much as the kids we serve.
Thank you for supporting our journey.
We can’t wait to bring a little sweetness to your celebration.
